Description

The Radiara-2 is a 215mm square recessed LED downlight with an integrated 25W 3000K LED and a white metal trim. The fitting carries an IP65 rating, making it suitable for outdoor soffits, covered porches, bathrooms and other wet-room environments where moisture protection is required. The square aperture measures 215mm on each side, with a recessed light panel behind a stepped white surround.

Designed for new-build and refurbishment projects needing functional overhead lighting in exposed conditions, the Radiara-2 suits commercial lobbies, outdoor walkways under cover, poolside changing areas, wet rooms and garage ceilings. The 25W LED output provides task-level illumination across a 2-3m square area depending on ceiling height. The 3000K colour temperature gives warm white light similar to halogen, reducing the clinical feel of higher-temperature LEDs in residential settings.

The IP65 rating means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction, so it can be installed in Zone 2 bathroom areas (600mm from a shower or bath edge) and exposed outdoor locations under a roof soffit. The white metal trim sits flush with the ceiling once installed, giving a clean modern finish. The non-dimmable LED driver is integrated into the housing, so no external control gear is needed beyond a mains switch.

Is the LED replaceable?

Yes, but only in covered locations such as soffits, porches or carports. IP65 protects against rain and water jets, but the fitting should not be exposed to direct weather where water can pool around the trim.
