Description
The Radiantix is a 22cm outdoor bollard light finished in powder-coated white aluminium with an opal plastic diffuser that casts soft, even light across pathways, garden borders and ground-level accent positions. The bollard takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and carries an IP44 rating for protection against water splashes and solid objects above 1mm, making it suitable for year-round outdoor installation in UK weather conditions.
Designed for low-level accent and wayfinding lighting, the 22cm height sits below typical knee height and works best along driveways, stepping stone paths, flowerbeds and terraced areas where higher bollards would dominate the sightline. The 140mm diameter footprint means the bollard can be positioned close to planted borders without taking up significant ground space. The opal diffuser spreads light in a wide cone rather than directing it upwards, reducing light pollution and providing functional path illumination without glare.
The powder-coated white finish is a hard-wearing polyester coating heat-bonded to the turned aluminium body, giving the bollard resistance to chipping, UV fade and corrosion better than paint alone. The finish pairs cleanly with white-rendered walls, contemporary fencing and grey paving. The E27 socket accepts any standard screw-fit LED, halogen or filament bulb up to the maximum wattage stated in the specification, and the fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible outdoor dimmer and dimmable bulb.

Frequently Asked
What IP rating does the Radiantix carry?
IP44. This protects against water splashes from any direction and solid objects larger than 1mm. The bollard is suitable for garden, driveway and patio installation but should not be submerged or installed in areas subject to standing water.
What bulb does it take and is one included?
The bollard takes a standard E27 screw-fit bulb up to the maximum wattage stated in the specification. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for path lighting.
Is the Radiantix dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a compatible outdoor dimmer and a dimmable bulb. The fitting itself supports dimming; dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb and dimmer module you choose.
What height is best for pathway bollards?
At 22cm, the Radiantix sits lower than typical pathway bollards (which range 40-90cm). This height suits accent positions along flowerbeds, driveways and terrace edges where the light should define the boundary without standing tall in the sightline. For main pathway lighting taller bollards may be more appropriate.
