The Radiantix is an 80cm outdoor bollard light made from turned aluminium with a grey powder-coated finish and an opal plastic diffuser at the head. The bollard houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind the opal diffuser, which spreads light in a 360-degree wash around the base of the fitting. The IP65 rating protects the internals against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, making it suitable for year-round outdoor installation in UK weather.

Designed for driveways, garden paths, and patio perimeters where taller bollards are needed to mark boundaries or provide ambient lighting without glare at eye level, the 80cm height sits below typical adult sightlines when walking. The 180mm diameter head provides a substantial light source without overwhelming narrower pathways. Can this be used in a driveway?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against water jets and dust, so the bollard can be installed at the edge of a driveway or along a garden path exposed to rain, snow and hose wash-down. The base plate must be fixed to a solid surface such as concrete, paving slabs or a timber deck — it cannot be driven into soft ground.

How is the bollard installed?

The base plate has two mounting holes for fixing to a hard surface with appropriate anchors or screws. The electrical supply cable feeds up through the base before the bollard is secured.
