Description

The Queen is a 380mm flush crystal ceiling light built around five concentric gold-finished metal rings, each holding faceted crystal octagons that refract light across the ceiling plane. Five G9 bulb fittings sit beneath the crystal layer, casting light upward through the stones and outward through the gaps between rings. The fixture projects approximately 110mm from the ceiling once fitted.

Designed by Ideal Lux in Italy for rooms with lower ceiling heights where a pendant would intrude into head space, the Queen works as both a flush ceiling fitting and a wall light. Typical applications include entrance halls with 2.2-2.4m ceiling heights, bedrooms where a lower-profile fitting is preferred, and hallways where wall-mounting at eye level provides decorative accent lighting. The IP20 rating limits it to indoor dry locations away from bathroom zones.

The gold finish is applied to the metal framework and provides warm reflections that pair with traditional brass fixtures, warm-toned wood furniture and cream or neutral wall colours. Each crystal octagon is faceted on multiple planes, so individual stones catch and redirect light at different angles depending on viewing position. The five G9 fittings accept halogen or LED capsule bulbs up to 33W each (sold separately), and the fixture is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer.
