The laser projects 440 preprogrammed 3D animation patterns including geometric shapes, waves, tunnels and text effects, while the RGBW LEDs provide independent colour-wash coverage as a traditional par-style fixture.

Designed for mobile DJs, small-to-medium stage productions, bars and event hire, the unit operates in four modes: standalone auto cycling, sound-to-light beat-reactive triggering, DMX512 with 7 or 21 channel profiles, and master-slave linking for synchronised multi-fixture setups. The compact 2.1kg weight allows single-person rigging on T-bar stands or truss, and the fixture draws 40W maximum at full output across both the laser and LED sections combined.

The laser section requires a key-switch activation to prevent accidental projection during setup or transport. The 7-channel mode provides basic control over laser patterns, colour selection and LED dimming, suitable for simple setups where speed of programming matters. The 21-channel mode separates laser rotation speed, pattern density, individual RGBW LED colour channels and strobe functions, giving full control for complex shows where laser and wash layers need independent cue timing.

Is the laser safe for public events?

The 1500mW Class 3B laser requires key-switch activation and must comply with local laser safety regulations. In the UK, public use of Class 3B lasers typically requires notification to the local authority and adherence to scanning speed, beam termination and audience scanning distance guidelines. The fixture is designed for overhead or ceiling mounting where direct eye exposure is avoided.

Can the LED and laser sections be controlled independently?

Yes, in DMX mode. The 21-channel profile allocates separate channels to laser pattern selection, laser colour, laser rotation, and the RGBW LED colour mix and dimming. In auto or sound-to-light modes the fixture runs both sections together as a combined effect.

What's the throw distance for the laser patterns?

Pattern size and clarity depend on projection distance and ambient light levels. At 3-5m the patterns cover approximately 2-3m diameter on a wall or screen.
