Description

The Pure is a 400mm cylindrical LED pendant designed for magnetic mounting onto Ideal Lux Ego profile track systems. The fitting houses an integrated 12W 3000K LED that casts downward directional light through the open bottom of the black extruded aluminium cylinder, creating a defined pool of warm white light directly beneath the pendant.

Built for track lighting installations in retail, hospitality, galleries and residential interiors where flexible spotlighting is needed, the Pure mounts to the track via an embedded magnet in the canopy. This allows the pendant to be repositioned along the track length without re-wiring or removing the track itself, making it suitable for spaces where lighting layouts change seasonally or for highlighting rotating displays. The 12W output and 3000K colour temperature suit general accent lighting over tables, kitchen islands, reception desks and countertop task positions.

The matt black finish on the extruded aluminium body absorbs ambient light and keeps the fitting visually recessive against dark ceilings or in dimly lit interiors. At 190mm total diameter including the track mount and 400mm pendant drop, the Pure provides focused downlighting without occupying excessive visual space. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor locations away from direct moisture exposure. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer system on the track circuit.

Does the Pure work on any track lighting system?

No. The Pure is designed specifically for Ideal Lux Ego profile magnetic track systems. It will not mount to standard three-circuit track or other manufacturers' track profiles. Confirm your existing track is an Ego profile before ordering.

Can the pendant be moved once installed?

Yes. The magnetic mount allows the pendant to be repositioned anywhere along the Ego track without tools or re-wiring. This makes it suitable for spaces where lighting needs change or where display layouts are rotated regularly.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 12W 3000K LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years at 8 hours per day.

What dimmer compatibility does it have?

The Pure is dimmable when the Ego track circuit is connected to a compatible LED dimmer. Ideal Lux recommends trailing-edge dimmers for LED track systems. Contact us for specific dimmer model recommendations before installation.
