Description
The Pull is an aluminium outdoor wall light with a rectangular profile and angled top edge, finished in graphite and housing an integrated 8W 3000K LED. Light escapes both upwards and downwards through open slots at the top and bottom of the fitting, creating directional wash lighting on the wall surface above and below the mount point.
Designed for exterior pathways, entrance porches, garage walls and perimeter lighting where IP54-rated protection is required, the Pull provides functional visibility rather than decorative accent. The 8W LED output gives sufficient illumination to mark a doorway position, highlight steps or boundaries, or provide low-level wayfinding along a path. The directional lighting effect works well on rendered, brick or timber cladding where the up/down wash creates visual interest on textured surfaces.
The aluminium construction measures 20.5cm long by 11cm high by 6cm deep, with a graphite powder-coated finish that resists corrosion and fading under outdoor exposure. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for uncovered exterior walls in typical UK weather conditions. The integrated LED operates on 220-240V mains supply and is not replaceable, but carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty from Maytoni.

Frequently Asked
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The 8W LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 15-20 years of typical residential use at 4 hours per evening.
Can it be mounted under a soffit or does it need a vertical wall?
The Pull is designed for vertical wall mounting, with the light escaping through slots at the top and bottom of the rectangular body to create up/down wash effects. Mounting it horizontally or on a soffit would alter the intended light distribution.
What does IP54 protection mean?
IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. It can be installed on uncovered exterior walls exposed to rain, but should not be submerged or subjected to high-pressure water jets.
How is it wired and controlled?
The Pull connects to 220-240V mains supply via standard fixed wiring. It does not include an integral switch, so control is via a wall switch indoors, an external PIR sensor, or a photocell timer depending on your installation requirements.
