The Prismatic Track Light Lens is a 45mm diameter transparent plastic accessory designed to narrow the beam angle of compatible track lighting fixtures to 18 degrees. The prismatic construction refracts light into a concentrated spot, directing illumination into a focused cone rather than a wide flood pattern.

Designed for retail displays, gallery installations, and accent lighting applications where precise beam control is needed, the lens clips or screws into the front of standard Ideal Lux track light heads. The 18-degree angle produces a spotlight effect approximately 300-400mm wide at 2m throw distance, depending on the bulb type and fixture housing. This makes it suitable for highlighting individual products on shelves, framed artwork on walls, or architectural features where light spill onto surrounding surfaces needs to be minimised.

The plastic construction keeps weight to a minimum, preventing additional strain on track mounting points compared to glass optics. The transparent finish maintains colour accuracy from the bulb without adding tint or filtering the spectrum. Installation requires removing the existing lens or bezel from the track head, positioning the prismatic lens in the lens holder, and securing it with the retaining ring or clips depending on the fixture model.
