Description

The Prismatic is a 255mm cylindrical LED track pendant in matt black aluminium, designed to mount onto standard track lighting systems. The 107mm diameter cylinder houses an integrated 15W LED emitting 3000K warm white light downwards through an open base, creating a focused beam suitable for task lighting, display lighting, or grouped arrangements over counters and tables.

Designed for kitchens, retail displays, galleries and dining areas where track systems are already installed, the Prismatic offers flexible positioning without rewiring — the pendant clips onto the track at any point along its length and rotates to adjust beam direction. The 350mm cable drop allows the pendant to hang below the track rail, creating vertical separation between the track and the light source. Multiple Prismatic pendants can be spaced along a single track to create even illumination over a kitchen island or to highlight multiple products on a retail wall.

The aluminium body acts as a heat sink, dissipating LED heat without requiring active cooling or ventilation slots. The matt black finish provides a low-glare surface under ambient light and pairs with both contemporary and industrial interiors. The cylindrical form measures 107mm in diameter and projects 55mm from the track rail once mounted, giving a compact profile that works in ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations.

The Prismatic mounts onto standard three-circuit track lighting rails. Check compatibility with your existing track system before ordering — Ideal Lux track products are designed to work with Ideal Lux track rails and may require adaptors for third-party systems.

Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Once clipped onto the track rail, the pendant can rotate to adjust the beam direction. The cylindrical body directs light downwards through the open base, so rotation changes where the focused beam falls on the surface below.

Is the integrated LED dimmable?

No. The 15W LED is non-dimmable and emits a fixed output at 3000K colour temperature. If dimming is required, consider alternative track pendants with dimmable driver compatibility.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 350mm cable drop plus the 255mm pendant height totals approximately 600mm from the track rail to the base of the pendant. For typical track rail mounting 100-150mm below the ceiling, this works comfortably in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.
