Description

The Prismatic is a 330mm black metal driver box designed to house LED drivers in multi-light installations where the driver needs to be positioned separately from the fitting itself. The box measures 330mm long by 80mm deep, providing space for one or more LED drivers depending on their individual footprints. A knockout entry point on one end accepts cable from the mains supply, and a knockout on the opposite end routes cable to the light fittings.

Designed for use in suspended track lighting systems, large pendant arrays, and architectural lighting projects where multiple drivers need centralised housing, the Prismatic mounts to ceiling voids, behind wall panels, or within custom joinery before the light fittings are connected. The box is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry indoor installations only — it is not weatherproof and should not be used outdoors or in bathrooms without additional enclosure.

The black powder-coated metal casing provides mechanical protection for the driver during installation and service. The 330mm length accommodates most standard constant-voltage and constant-current LED drivers used with Ideal Lux track and pendant systems, as well as third-party drivers where dimensions allow. The box simplifies inspector sign-off on multi-driver installations by keeping all drivers accessible in a single enclosure rather than scattered across a ceiling void.
