Description

The Prios Round is a three-ring LED suspension light built from matt black-painted metal hoops in three different diameters, arranged in an overlapping cluster that hangs from six individual cables. The largest ring measures 685mm across, with the other two rings progressively smaller, creating a stacked geometric composition when viewed from below. An integrated 82W LED runs inside the hoops, emitting 3000K warm white light downwards through opal plastic diffusers that soften the output and prevent glare.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Prios uses six adjustable cables with a maximum drop of 2000mm to position the rings at the desired height above a table or seating area. The overlapping configuration gives the fitting visual presence from multiple angles without blocking sightlines across a room. The direct downward emission makes this a functional task light for dining tables or kitchen worktops, while the warm colour temperature keeps the light comfortable for evening use.

The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the metal frame visually recessive when the fitting is lit and allowing the circular forms to stand out as silhouettes. The opal diffusers create an even glow around the inside of each hoop rather than exposing individual LED points, giving the appearance of continuous light ribbons. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

Is the Prios dimmable?

No. The integrated 82W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light operates at full output when switched on.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2000mm cable drop is adjustable during installation. For a dining table the rings typically sit 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The cables can be shortened to suit lower ceilings if needed.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Prios to dry indoor environments only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.

How are the cables adjusted?

Each of the six cables passes through an individual ceiling rose and is adjusted independently during installation by drawing the excess cable back through the rose and securing it. This allows the overall drop and the relative positioning of the three rings to be set on-site.
