Description
The PowerMaster Single 5ft LED Batten is a 1524mm integrated LED fitting with adjustable wattage settings (30W, 35W, 42W, 54W) and switchable colour temperature (4000K, 5000K, 6500K). At the maximum 54W setting, the batten delivers 8,800 lumens at 150 lumens per watt efficiency through a white polycarbonate diffuser with a 120° beam angle. The wattage and CCT are changed via switches on the driver, allowing the output to be matched to room size and ceiling height on site.
Designed for commercial, retail, warehouse and workshop installation, the batten fits directly onto ceiling surfaces or suspended via the white steel housing. The push-fit terminals at each end accept mains cable without requiring a screwdriver or additional tools, reducing installation time when running multiple fittings in series. The housing measures 1524mm long by 68mm wide by 55mm high, with white polycarbonate end caps that conceal the cable entry points.
The white steel housing acts as both a structural frame and a heat sink, drawing heat away from the integrated LED PCB board. The polycarbonate diffuser sits flush with the housing edges and distributes light evenly across the 120° beam without visible LED hotspots. The fitting carries an IP20 rating, limiting it to indoor dry locations — corridors, offices, retail back-of-house, light industrial workshops and car parks with weatherproof ceilings.
The non-dimmable driver operates on 220-240V mains. The CCT switch allows selection between neutral white (4000K), cool white (5000K) and daylight white (6500K) depending on whether the space requires a softer commercial tone or brighter task-focused light. The fibre-reinforced PCB reduces thermal expansion and extends the operational life of the LED array.

Frequently Asked
How is the wattage and colour temperature adjusted?
Both settings are changed via dip switches on the driver, accessible when the fitting is removed from the ceiling. The wattage can be set to 30W, 35W, 42W or 54W, and the CCT to 4000K, 5000K or 6500K. These are set on installation and are not user-adjustable during normal operation.
Can multiple battens be wired in series?
Yes. The push-fit terminals at each end accept incoming and outgoing mains cables, allowing multiple battens to be daisy-chained from a single circuit. Check total load against circuit capacity before connecting multiple 54W fittings.
What mounting options are available?
The batten mounts directly to a ceiling surface via screws through the steel housing. It can also be suspended from chains or wires if the ceiling structure requires a drop, though suspension hardware is not included.
Is it suitable for damp or outdoor locations?
No. The IP20 rating limits this batten to indoor dry locations. For covered outdoor areas, damp industrial spaces or bathrooms, a higher IP-rated fitting is required.
