Description

The Points is a 22cm linear track light housing a 12W integrated LED rated at 3000K warm white, built for Maytoni's magnetic Exility track system. The black aluminium body measures 22cm long by 2.2cm wide by 4.4cm high, with a recessed LED array behind precision optics that direct light at a fixed 36° beam angle.

Designed for accent and directional task lighting in residential, retail and hospitality settings, the Points clips magnetically onto Exility track without tools or screws, allowing the light to be repositioned along the track as needed. The recessed LED placement reduces glare when viewed from typical standing and seated eye levels, while the 36° beam provides focused illumination suitable for highlighting artwork, retail displays, architectural features or worktop surfaces. The fixture operates on DC 48V supplied by the Exility track system.

The black aluminium finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, keeping visual focus on the illuminated target rather than the fixture itself. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white output that pairs well with natural wood tones, warm neutrals and brass accents. The IP20 rating limits the Points to dry indoor environments, and the aluminium construction provides passive heat dissipation across the 22cm body length. Is this compatible with standard track lighting systems?

No. The Points is designed exclusively for Maytoni's magnetic Exility track system, which operates on DC 48V. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track systems from other manufacturers.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

The 36° beam angle is fixed by the internal optics and cannot be adjusted. However, the entire fixture can be rotated and repositioned along the Exility track to redirect the light beam as needed.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fixture and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 50,000 hours of operation and is covered by Maytoni's 5-year warranty.

What spaces is the IP20 rating suitable for?

IP20 limits the Points to dry indoor environments only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any outdoor or damp locations.
