Description

The Plantation is a single-arm wall light with a pineapple-form optic glass shade mounted on a polished antique nickel bracket. The shade sits on a cast pineapple base detail, and the arm curves from a circular backplate with hammered texture detailing. The fitting takes a single E14 candle bulb up to 40W (sold separately).

Designed for hallways, landings, bedroom walls and flanking entryway doors, the Plantation provides ambient and decorative light. The optic glass pattern refracts light into a soft glow rather than directing it as task light, so the fitting works best in pairs or multiples for corridor lighting. At 381mm tall and 222mm projection from the wall, it suits standard ceiling heights of 2.4m and above without the shade sitting too close to face height.

The polished antique nickel finish shows brushed surface texture under close inspection, giving a warmer tone than bright chrome or polished nickel. The pineapple detail on the base and finial is a traditional American Colonial motif symbolising hospitality, and the optic glass pattern references early 19th-century pressed glass techniques. The cream fabric shade softens the light output and adds a tailored finish to the glass beneath.
