Description

The Pickering Lane is a 254mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light housing three E14 candle bulbs inside a hand-blown seeded glass shade, mounted on a heritage brass frame with turned detailing. The seeded glass is densely textured with small air bubbles cast into the molten glass during manufacture, scattering light across the room while the three exposed filament bulbs (sold separately) provide the primary illumination.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the fitting mounts at a minimum 410mm drop from ceiling to base, making it suitable for hallways, bedroom centres, and dining areas where a full pendant would hang too low. The 915mm chain can be extended during installation to convert the semi-flush into a short pendant for higher ceilings if needed, though most installations use the minimum drop configuration. The brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The heritage brass finish has a warm, slightly aged tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass — it shows a subtle patina effect but retains enough sheen to reflect candlelight from the bulbs.
