Description

The Old Park is a 2 light semi-flush ceiling light built from solid brass with an antique finish, fitted with bevelled clear glass panels set into geometric bronze framework. The fitting drops 230mm from the ceiling and spans 320mm in width, housing two E27 bulb holders (bulbs sold separately) within the glass enclosure.

Designed for hallways, landing areas, bedroom ceilings and living rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a full pendant drop would sit too low but a flush fitting would lack presence. The semi-flush configuration keeps the fitting close to the ceiling whilst the glass panels and brass frame add architectural detail. The two E27 sockets accept LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each, giving control over light temperature and brightness.

The bevelled glass panels catch and refract light from the bulbs, throwing geometric patterns onto the ceiling and walls when lit. The antique brass finish shows intentional patina and darker tones in the recesses of the metalwork, contrasting with the polished edges of the bevelled glass. The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 2.1kg weight, requiring a ceiling joist or appropriately rated ceiling rose for safe installation. The base plate is 150mm diameter and conceals standard UK ceiling wiring.
