Description
The Notta is a bidirectional wall light built from a single curved brass panel that measures 246mm high, 158mm wide and projects 70mm from the wall. A single G9 bulb inside the curved form casts light both upwards and downwards through apertures at the top and base, while a second light source behind the metal panel creates an accent glow that outlines the shape against the wall.
Designed for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and hotel corridors, the Notta provides both functional illumination and architectural accent lighting. The upward and downward beams wash the wall above and below the fitting, creating layered ambient light rather than a single focused beam. The accent backlight separates the brass panel from the wall surface, giving the fitting depth and visual weight. The compact 158mm width suits narrower walls where a larger fitting would overwhelm the space, and multiple Notta fittings can be spaced along a corridor or stairwell to create rhythm.
The curved brass panel is formed from sheet metal with a satin finish that softens reflections and pairs well with warm-toned interiors, oak furniture and terracotta or cream wall colours. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations. The G9 bulb (sold separately) is user-replaceable and accepts LED, halogen or capsule bulbs up to 40W, allowing light temperature and brightness to be chosen based on the room's use.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Notta take?
The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 40W, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W warm-white LED G9 bulb at 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting. The accent backlight is a separate integrated source that cannot be replaced.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the Notta is suitable only for dry indoor locations away from direct water contact. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.
How is the bidirectional light effect created?
The G9 bulb sits inside the curved brass panel. Light escapes through apertures at the top and bottom of the panel, creating upward and downward wall-washing beams. A second integrated light source behind the panel casts a glow that outlines the brass form against the wall.
What mounting height works best?
For hallways and living rooms, mounting the Notta at 1.5-1.8m from the floor allows the upward and downward beams to wash the wall without causing glare at eye level. In bedrooms, mounting closer to 1.4m works well for bedside wall lighting.
