Description

The Nocturne is a 25W constant voltage LED driver delivering stable 24V DC output for LED strip lighting, linear profiles and panel installations. The driver converts 220-240V AC mains power to a regulated 24V DC supply, maintaining consistent voltage across the connected LED circuit regardless of minor fluctuations in the mains supply.

Designed for indoor residential and commercial installations, the driver suits under-cabinet LED strip runs, recessed linear profiles in kitchens and offices, backlit signage, and 24V LED panel arrays. The 135mm x 45mm plastic housing fits inside ceiling voids, behind furniture plinths, and within cabinet recesses where space is limited. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only—bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor applications require an IP44 or IP65 rated driver.

Built-in protection circuits guard against short circuit, overload and thermal overload conditions, automatically shutting down the driver if a fault is detected. The 150mm input and output cable leads terminate in standard DC barrel connectors on the output side and a European two-pin plug on the input, allowing tool-free connection to most 24V LED strip systems. The white plastic housing dissipates heat through ventilation slots on the underside, keeping the driver cool during continuous operation.

Is this driver dimmable?

No. The Nocturne is a non-dimmable constant voltage driver. If dimming control is needed, a separate 24V DC dimmer module must be installed between the driver output and the LED strip.

What LED strip length can it power?

At 25W output capacity, the driver powers approximately 5 metres of standard-density 24V LED strip rated at 4.8W per metre, or 2.5 metres of higher-density strip rated at 9.6W per metre. Always check the total wattage of your LED strip run before selecting a driver.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the driver has no moisture protection and must be installed in dry indoor locations only. For bathroom zones, use an IP44 or IP65 rated driver positioned outside the bathroom or in a zone 3 location.

What's included in the box?

The driver unit with attached input cable (European two-pin plug) and output cable (DC barrel connector). Mounting brackets, additional cable extensions and connectors are sold separately.
