Description

The Nest is a 1m outdoor bollard light with a tall slender column in anthracite grey powder-coated aluminium and a vertical Pyrex glass diffuser panel set into the front face. The G9 bulb fitting sits behind the glass, casting light forward through the transparent Pyrex panel to illuminate pathways, driveways, garden borders and patio edges.

Designed for residential and commercial outdoor installation, the Nest provides directed light at ground level without excessive upward spill. The vertical orientation of the light aperture creates a downward wash that defines path edges and steps while the narrow 50mm width and 100mm projection minimise obstruction on narrower pathways. The IP44 rating protects against rain and splashing water, making the fitting suitable for open gardens, courtyards and covered outdoor areas.

The powder-coated aluminium frame resists corrosion from rain exposure and retains colour stability under UV. The Pyrex glass diffuser is harder and more heat-resistant than standard soda-lime glass, so it tolerates rapid temperature changes from rain hitting a warm bulb without cracking. The anthracite grey finish reads as a neutral dark grey under daylight and becomes less visible at night, letting the light output define the space rather than the fitting itself.
