Description

The Nebula is a 500mm crystal suspension light with eight E14 bulb fittings arranged within a shallow oblate dome formed from chromed metal rings. Faceted crystal octagons are set between the rings across the entire surface, catching light from the internal bulbs and reflecting it outward through the crystal grid. The chrome framework holds the crystals taut and provides structural weight to the 280mm-high body.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Nebula works as both task lighting over a table and ambient lighting in a larger open space. The eight bulbs provide distributed illumination across a 3-4m table or a 15-20m² room depending on bulb wattage and colour temperature chosen. The suspension cables are height-adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface or higher for general room lighting.

Each faceted crystal octagon is individually wired into the metal frame, creating a continuous layer of refractive surfaces across the dome. The chrome finish on the rings is highly polished, adding reflective brightness to the fitting when lit and a mirror-like quality when dark. The combined crystal and chromed metal gives the Nebula a substantial presence without the visual weight of a solid shade. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas only.

The Nebula carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty from Ideal Lux Italy. Bulbs are sold separately — most installations pair this with eight candle-style E14 LED bulbs at 4-6W each and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer.
