Nebula 6 Light Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Chrome

The Nebula is a 400mm flush-mount ceiling light with a chrome-plated metal frame encircled by a band of faceted ground crystal elements, fitted with six G9 bulb holders. A sandblasted glass disc sits beneath the crystal band, diffusing light from the six bulbs across the room while the crystal facets cast refracted patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms with standard ceiling heights of 2.4m, the Nebula provides both ambient and decorative lighting in a compact 130mm projection from the ceiling. The flush-mount configuration suits spaces where a full pendant or chandelier would hang too low or dominate the room visually. The six G9 bulbs sit behind the sandblasted glass diffuser rather than being exposed, so the fitting provides even downward light distribution without visible bulb glare.

The chrome-plated metal base and canopy provide a reflective surface that amplifies the crystal refraction effect when the lights are on, and the polished finish pairs with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors. The ground crystal elements are individually cut and arranged around the perimeter band, so each piece refracts light at a slightly different angle depending on the crystal's orientation. The sandblasted glass diffuser softens the output from the six bulbs into a warm general illumination suitable for rooms up to 20-25 square metres.

The fitting is rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use only and is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch. The chrome finish is lacquer-sealed to resist tarnishing under typical indoor conditions, though it will show fingerprints during installation and should be wiped with a soft cloth once fitted.

Is the Nebula dimmable?

Yes, the fitting itself is dimmable. You will need to fit dimmable G9 bulbs (sold separately) and connect the fitting to a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.

What bulbs does it take?

The Nebula takes six G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3W and 5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient living room lighting. Maximum wattage per bulb depends on the bulb technology — check the Specification tab for the fitting's maximum rating.

What room size does it suit?

With six G9 bulbs the Nebula provides enough light for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms up to approximately 20-25 square metres. In larger spaces it can be used as decorative accent lighting alongside other fittings, or in pairs for symmetrical illumination.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off power at the mains before cleaning. Use a dry, soft microfibre cloth to wipe dust from the chrome frame and crystal elements. For more stubborn marks on the crystal, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fittings and do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners that can damage the chrome plating or crystal facets.
