Description

The Mona is a 2-light wall light with a polished chrome stem and two frosted glass drum shades, one above and one below a central chrome collar. The fixture includes two 3W 3000K G9 LED bulbs that shine through the frosted glass to deliver diffused ambient light without glare. The overall height is 559mm, with a 165mm width and 98mm projection from the wall.

Designed for bathroom mirror lighting, hallway accent positions and bedside wall placement, the Mona carries an IP44 rating allowing installation in zones 2 and 3 of a bathroom where splashing water is possible but not direct jets. The dual-light configuration provides more even coverage than a single bulb when mounted either side of a mirror or at intervals along a corridor. The polished chrome finish reflects light back into the room and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and other bathroom hardware.

The frosted glass shades sit within polished chrome bezels top and bottom, with the stem passing through the centre collar to create a balanced vertical composition. The 98mm projection keeps the fitting compact enough for narrow hallways and small bathrooms where deeper wall lights would obstruct movement. The included G9 LEDs deliver 3000K warm white light at low running cost, with a combined output of 6W replacing traditional 40-50W halogen equivalents.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating allows use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, where the fitting may encounter splashing water but not direct water jets. This makes it suitable for positions next to mirrors and on walls outside the immediate shower or bath enclosure.

Are the bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The frosted glass shades unscrew from the chrome bezels to access the G9 LED bulbs. Replacement G9 LEDs are widely available and can be swapped without rewiring the fitting.

What height should it be mounted at?

For bathroom mirror lighting, mount the centre of the fitting at eye level, typically 1500-1700mm from the floor. For bedside wall lights, position the centre at approximately 1200-1400mm to allow reading light without glare when seated in bed.

Can it be dimmed?

The included G9 LEDs are not dimmable. If dimming is required, the bulbs can be replaced with dimmable G9 LEDs paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch.
