Description

The Mollis is an adjustable wall light with a 105cm articulated metal arm finished in black, ending in a dome shade that houses a 7W G9 LED behind an acrylic diffuser. The arm pivots at the wall plate and again at the midpoint, allowing the lamp head to be positioned over a headboard for bedside reading, angled to graze a wall as accent lighting, or directed onto artwork in a hallway.

Designed for task and accent applications rather than ambient room lighting, the Mollis suits bedrooms where a reading light is needed without mounting a pendant or table lamp, hallways where wall space is limited but illumination is wanted on specific features, and living rooms where a sofa-side reading position benefits from adjustable directed light. The 36cm height of the wall plate and the 105cm arm reach give sufficient clearance to position the lamp head 80-100cm from the wall when fully extended, avoiding obstruction by furniture.

The black metal finish is a smooth powder coat that sits flush with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors without adding visual weight. The dome shade measures approximately 95mm wide, and the acrylic diffuser conceals the G9 bulb from direct view, softening glare when the lamp is angled towards a reading position. How far does the arm extend from the wall?

The arm measures 105cm total length and articulates at two points — the wall plate and the midpoint. When fully extended the lamp head sits approximately 80-100cm from the wall depending on the angle of each joint. When folded back the head can sit as close as 30cm from the wall.

Is the bulb included?

The Mollis is supplied with a 7W G9 LED bulb pre-installed. Replacement G9 bulbs are widely available and the fitting accepts any G9 bulb up to 7W.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present.

Does the arm stay in position once adjusted?

Yes. The two pivot points on the arm are friction joints that hold the lamp head in position once adjusted. Over time these joints may loosen slightly with repeated movement, but the arm is designed to maintain its set position under normal use.
