Description

The Mirage is a 400mm circular LED ceiling or wall light with a white powder-coated metal base and an acid-etched white blown glass diffuser. An integrated 22.5W LED module sits behind the glass, delivering 3000K warm white light that scatters evenly through the etched surface. The screwless fixing system conceals all mounting hardware behind the glass plate, leaving no visible fixings on the face of the fitting once installed.

Designed for both ceiling and wall mounting, the Mirage suits hallways, bathrooms (IP20 rating limits it to zones outside direct water spray), bedrooms and living areas where low-profile functional lighting is needed without protruding lampshades or exposed bulbs. At 400mm diameter the fitting provides general ambient light for spaces up to 10-12m² without dominating the ceiling plane. The white finish blends into standard white or off-white ceilings and the glass diffuser softens the LED array behind it into a uniform glow.

The LED module is replaceable rather than permanently sealed, so when it eventually reaches end-of-life the entire fitting does not need replacing. The acid-etched glass is thicker and heavier than simple opal polycarbonate diffusers, giving the Mirage a more substantial feel and better light distribution with fewer visible hotspots from individual LED chips. The powder-coated metal base carries a 5-year warranty and the IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor locations.

No. The integrated LED module is non-dimmable and operates on standard 230V mains without requiring a dimmer-compatible driver.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating allows the Mirage to be fitted in bathrooms outside the direct spray zones (zones 0, 1 and 2). It can be used on bathroom ceilings above 2.25m from the bath or shower tray, or on walls outside the wet zone perimeter.

Is the LED module replaceable?

Yes. The LED module can be replaced when it reaches end-of-life, avoiding the need to replace the entire fitting. Contact Ideal Lux or Niori for replacement module availability.

What size room does it suit?

The 400mm diameter and 22.5W output provide general ambient light for rooms up to approximately 10-12m². For larger spaces, multiple fittings spaced 1.5-2m apart deliver more even coverage.
