Description

The Maytoni Trinity straight connector joins two sections of 3-phase surface-mounted track in a continuous line, maintaining electrical continuity across all three circuit phases. The connector body is moulded from black engineering-grade plastic with internal copper contact plates that slot into the track channel from both ends, locking the physical join and completing the electrical path in a single fitting action.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery and hospitality installations where track lighting circuits need to span longer distances than a single track section allows, the connector enables runs of 4m, 6m or more without visible cable breaks or junction boxes. The 166mm body length bridges the gap between track ends, and the 32mm width matches the standard Maytoni Trinity track profile so the join sits flush once clipped together. Voltage rating is 220-240V AC across all three phases.

The black finish integrates visually with black track systems, reducing the connector's visibility when looking up at the ceiling from below. Installation requires no tools beyond those needed to mount the track itself — the connector clips into place once both track sections are positioned correctly, and the internal spring contacts ensure phase alignment without requiring manual phase-matching during fitting.

Is this compatible with other brands of 3-phase track?

The connector is designed specifically for Maytoni Trinity track systems. While some generic 3-phase track uses similar dimensions, phase alignment and contact plate positioning vary between manufacturers, so compatibility with non-Maytoni track cannot be guaranteed.

Does it maintain all three circuit phases?

Yes. The internal contact plates bridge all three phases plus the neutral and earth connections, so track-mounted luminaires on either side of the connector can be switched independently via the three-phase control.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The connector carries no IP rating and is designed for indoor dry-location use only. For outdoor or damp-location track installations, use IP-rated track components throughout the system.
