What ceiling void depth is needed for installation?

The total assembly height is 53mm, but a minimum ceiling void depth of 60mm is recommended to allow space for the heat-sink fins and wiring connections. The fitting uses spring-clip retention arms that compress during installation and expand behind the ceiling board to hold the fitting in place.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means this downlight is suitable only for dry zones in bathrooms (typically Zone 3 or outside designated zones). It cannot be installed in zones 0, 1 or 2 where water spray or steam contact is possible. For wet-rated bathroom downlights, see Niori's IP44 and IP65-rated products.

Is the LED replaceable or dimmable?

The 7W LED and driver are integrated into the assembly and are not user-replaceable. The LED is not dimmable on standard mains dimmers. If dimming is required, check with Niori before ordering as Maytoni produces separate dimmable variants of some downlight ranges.
