Description
The LYYT 200 LED string lights provide 10m of lit length carrying 200 cool white LEDs on a dark green cable, with an IP44 rating for sheltered outdoor use and an IP20 controller for indoor operation. The lights run from a mains adapter delivering 31V DC, consuming a maximum of 3.6W across the full string.
Designed for garden structures, pergolas, covered patios, indoor parties and seasonal decoration, the string offers 8 pre-programmed sequences selectable via a button on the controller: combined, waves, sequential, slow-glow, chasing, slow-fade, twinkle and static. The built-in 24-hour timer activates by holding the adapter button, cycling 8 hours on and 16 hours off automatically once set. The 5m power lead from the mains plug to the first LED provides reach to distant power points without needing extension cables in most domestic settings.
The concave LED heads spread light in a wider pattern than traditional dome LEDs, reducing hot-spots and giving more even coverage when the string is draped across foliage or wound around structures. The 50mm spacing between LEDs gives a dense appearance when the string is coiled or bunched, or a more spaced effect when stretched taut. The dark green cable blends with evergreen foliage and brown timber without standing out in daylight. At 320g for the full 15m overall length, the string is light enough to be supported by most temporary hooks, cable ties or wire fixings without sagging.

Frequently Asked
Can these be used outdoors?
The string lights carry an IP44 rating, making them suitable for sheltered outdoor use such as covered patios, pergolas, gazebos and under eaves. The controller is rated IP20 and must remain indoors or under full weather protection. Do not use in heavy rain or leave exposed to direct rainfall.
How does the 24-hour timer work?
Hold down the button on the mains adapter to activate the timer. Once set, the lights will run for 8 hours, then turn off automatically for 16 hours, repeating this cycle daily. To deactivate the timer, unplug the adapter or press the button again to return to manual control.
What are the 8 lighting modes?
The controller cycles through: combined (mixed effects), waves (sequential flowing), sequential (one-at-a-time chasing), slow-glow (gentle pulsing), chasing (fast sequential), slow-fade (gradual dimming and brightening), twinkle (random flashing), and static (constant on). Press the mode button to step through each sequence.
Can the strings be connected together?
No. Each string operates from its own mains adapter and controller. The LYYT string lights are not designed to be daisy-chained or connected end-to-end. To cover larger areas, run multiple strings from separate power points.
