Description

The Lyris Trimless is a 2m white anodised aluminium profile cover designed to recess flush into plasterboard walls and ceilings, creating linear LED installations with no visible edge or trim. The profile accepts LED strip tape (sold separately) and mounts directly into a routed channel, with the white powder-coated surface sitting level with the plaster finish once installed and skimmed.

Designed for kitchens, offices, retail spaces and architectural lighting projects where a clean continuous line of light is needed without surface-mounted housings or visible fixings. The trimless construction means the profile edges are hidden behind the plaster skim, leaving only the diffuser visible as a flush white slot in the ceiling or wall plane. The 2000mm length can be joined end-to-end using compatible joiners to create unbroken runs along kitchen islands, corridor ceilings or retail wall displays.

The extruded aluminium construction provides structural rigidity and acts as a heat sink for the LED strip, dissipating heat away from the diodes to maintain consistent output and extend lamp life. The 35mm projection depth accommodates most standard 12V and 24V LED strip tapes up to 12mm width. The white anodised and powder-coated finish resists corrosion and maintains colour stability under UV exposure, making it suitable for installations near large glazed areas or skylights.

Installation requires routing a channel into the plasterboard substrate to the profile's outer dimensions, inserting the profile, wiring the LED strip tape to a compatible driver (sold separately), and skimming over the flanges to leave the diffuser surface flush.
