Description

The Lyris Trimless is a 2m black anodised aluminium profile cover designed for flush installation of LED strip lighting into ceilings or walls. The trimless design sits recessed into the plasterboard or render surface, hiding the profile edges and creating a continuous line of light without visible hardware or frame protrusion. The 35mm projection accommodates standard LED strip widths plus wiring clearance.

Used in modern residential interiors, hospitality spaces and commercial fit-outs where clean architectural lighting is required, the Lyris pairs with low-voltage LED tape (sold separately) and a compatible driver. The profile mounts into a pre-cut channel in the ceiling or wall surface, with the black anodised cover clipping over the tape once installed. This creates a recessed light slot that appears as a simple line cut into the surface, with no visible profile edges or fixings once plastered around.

The black anodised finish provides a hard-wearing surface that resists scratching and oxidation better than powder coating alone, and the dark tone recedes visually against most ceiling colours, keeping focus on the light output rather than the fixture itself. The 2m length can be cut to size on site with a hacksaw or mitre saw if shorter runs are needed, or multiple sections can be butted together for longer continuous runs. The aluminium construction acts as a heatsink for the LED tape, extending lamp life and preventing thermal damage to surrounding plasterboard.
