Description

The Lyria is a 40cm spherical pendant light with a blown and acid-etched white glass globe suspended on adjustable steel cables from a white metal ceiling rose. A single E27 bulb fitting inside the sphere diffuses light evenly through the opaque glass, creating ambient illumination without glare or visible hot spots.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Lyria provides soft overhead lighting where a gentle spread is needed rather than directed task light. The 2150mm cable is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set at 600-900mm above a dining table or hung higher for general room lighting. The white glass works with both cool and warm bulb temperatures without tinting the light output.

The acid-etched glass treatment gives the sphere a smooth, matte surface that hides fingerprints and dust better than clear or polished glass. At 40cm diameter the pendant suits rooms of 12-18m² without dominating smaller spaces or disappearing in larger ones. The steel cable conceals the electrical run and supports the weight of the glass globe without visible fixings at the canopy. Dimmable when paired with a compatible E27 LED bulb and appropriate dimmer switch.
