The Luxeon Wide is a 283mm adjustable LED linear track light with an integrated 7W 3000K LED module housed in a black extruded aluminium profile. The light unit fixes magnetically to compatible track systems, allowing repositioning without tools once the track is installed. The 1-10V dimming protocol connects to compatible control systems for smooth intensity adjustment from 10-100% output.

Designed for retail interiors, gallery walls, commercial offices and residential accent lighting where directional control matters, the Luxeon Wide delivers a concentrated beam from a compact 283mm body. The magnetic mounting means multiple units can be positioned, moved, and repositioned along the track to respond to changing room layouts or display setups without re-wiring. The track sits flush with the ceiling and the profile projects 72mm below ceiling level when fitted, making it suitable for spaces with 2.4m ceilings or higher.

What track system does this fit?

The Luxeon Wide uses magnetic mounting and is designed to fit Ideal Lux's Ego profile track system. It will not fit standard three-circuit track rails or other brands' magnetic systems without adapter rails.

Is the 1-10V dimming compatible with standard home dimmers?

No. 1-10V is a commercial lighting control protocol requiring a separate low-voltage control cable and a compatible 1-10V dimmer or control system. It does not work with standard trailing-edge or leading-edge domestic dimmers designed for mains voltage switching.

Can the light direction be adjusted once fitted?

The light module can be repositioned along the track magnetically, but the beam direction is fixed downward from the profile. The profile itself is linear and does not rotate or tilt once mounted to the track.

What ceiling height works best?

The 72mm projection below the track means the fitting works in rooms with 2.4m ceilings or higher. In lower ceilings the profile may feel visually dominant, and in very high ceilings (3.5m+) multiple units may be needed to achieve adequate light levels at floor or desk height.
