The connector sits 18mm proud of the mounting surface and locks track sections end-to-end through an internal clip mechanism, maintaining electrical continuity across the join.

Used in residential, office and retail track installations where lighting runs need to extend beyond a single track length or turn corners in an L or T configuration. The white finish matches Ideal Lux white track rails, creating a near-invisible seam when sections are pushed together. The connector handles the mechanical load of the track either side and maintains the power feed across the join, so track heads can be positioned anywhere along the combined run.

The polycarbonate body resists everyday knocks and temperature variation from the track power feed without discolouring or warping. Does it carry power across the join?

Yes. The connector maintains electrical continuity between track sections, so power feeds from the transformer or mains connection point can serve track heads positioned anywhere along the combined run, including across the join.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating indicates this connector is suitable for dry indoor environments only. It is not weatherproof and should not be used in damp locations, bathrooms or outdoor applications.
