Description

The Luxeon is a 2m magnetic surface-mounted track in white powder-coated aluminium, designed to accept magnetic track spotlights from the Luxeon range. The track houses a continuous magnetic strip along its length, allowing spotlights to be positioned and repositioned anywhere along the 2000mm run without fixed connectors or pre-drilled mounting points.

Designed for residential kitchens, retail display walls, galleries and commercial interiors where lighting positions need flexibility, the track mounts directly to ceiling or wall surfaces using the integral fixing channels. The 26mm projection from the mounting surface gives a low-profile finish that suits contemporary interiors with clean lines. The magnetic system means adding, removing or sliding spotlights along the track takes seconds without tools or re-wiring.

The white powder-coat finish over extruded aluminium gives a neutral backdrop that recedes into white and light-toned ceilings. The aluminium extrusion includes internal wiring channels and earth continuity, and the track accepts dimmer-compatible magnetic spotlights where the spotlight itself carries the dimming electronics. The IP20 rating limits the track to dry indoor environments — not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or areas with condensation exposure.

Can the track be cut to a shorter length?

The aluminium extrusion can be cut with a hacksaw or mitre saw to fit shorter runs, but cutting voids the warranty and requires re-terminating the internal wiring. If a shorter length is needed, consider ordering the 1m Luxeon track instead.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the track is only suitable for dry indoor environments. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher for zones near water sources.
