Description

The Luxeon is an 8W LED magnetic track spotlight with a cylindrical white aluminium housing measuring 70mm high and 40mm in diameter, designed to attach magnetically to compatible track rails. The integrated LED emits 3000K warm white light through a recessed lens, creating a focused beam suitable for accent lighting or directional task lighting.

Designed for residential kitchens, retail displays, gallery walls and hospitality spaces where lighting positions need to be adjusted without re-wiring, the magnetic track system allows the spotlight to be moved along the rail and repositioned by hand. The spotlight tilts on its mounting stem to aim light at wall-hung art, product shelves, or architectural features. The 190mm track section visible in the image houses the electrical contacts that power the spotlight magnetically, eliminating the need for screw-fixed clips or mechanical locking.

The extruded aluminium body is finished in matt white powder coat, giving a clean appearance against white ceilings and walls in contemporary interiors. The IP20 rating limits the spotlight to dry indoor use only. The 8W LED output provides focused accent lighting without the heat output of halogen equivalents, and the 3000K colour temperature sits between neutral white and warm white, making it suitable for spaces where a slightly cooler tone than traditional incandescent is acceptable.

The Luxeon uses a magnetic track system specific to Ideal Lux. The spotlight will not fit standard 3-circuit or 1-circuit mechanical track rails from other manufacturers. Contact us to confirm track compatibility before ordering.

Can the spotlight be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The magnetic attachment allows the spotlight to be moved by hand along the track rail without tools, and the head tilts to adjust the beam angle. This makes it straightforward to reposition lighting as room layouts or display arrangements change.
