The Luxeon is an 8W LED magnetic track spotlight with a cylindrical brass head that clips onto compatible magnetic track systems. The integrated LED outputs warm 3000K light through a black baffle inside the 70mm-tall cylinder, with the head angled on a ball joint to direct the beam where needed. The magnetic base holds the spotlight securely on the track while allowing tool-free repositioning along the rail.

The Luxeon uses Ideal Lux's magnetic track system. It will not fit standard three-circuit track or other manufacturers' magnetic rails without an adapter. Contact us to confirm compatibility if you have an existing track installation.

Can the spotlight be angled?

Yes. The cylindrical head tilts on a ball joint, allowing the beam to be directed up, down or across depending on what you're lighting. The magnetic base rotates on the track rail, giving a full range of positioning.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 8W LED operates at full output on a standard 230V mains circuit. If dimming is required, you would need to use a different Ideal Lux model rated as dimmable.

How many spotlights are needed for a typical retail display?

At 8W output, the Luxeon provides accent lighting rather than general room light. A typical retail wall or product display uses one spotlight per 0.5-1m of track length, depending on ceiling height and the level of focus required on individual products.
