Description

The Luxeon is a single-head LED track spotlight with a 12W integrated 3000K light source housed in a black extruded aluminium cylinder body. The spotlight mounts to a compatible magnetic track rail via a magnetic adapter block that clips into the rail channel and allows the head to be repositioned along the track without tools. The 190mm-long body projects 105mm from the track when fitted, with a 40mm head diameter.

Designed for retail displays, gallery lighting, kitchen worktop zones and living spaces where accent or task lighting needs to be adjusted over time, the magnetic mounting system means the spotlight can be moved, angled and repositioned in seconds. The track rail itself is sold separately and typically runs along ceilings or bulkheads to create flexible lighting zones. The 12W output at 3000K provides warm white directional light suitable for highlighting products, artwork, architectural features or task surfaces.

The black powder-coated aluminium body dissipates heat efficiently and maintains colour consistency over the 5-year warranty period. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for over 25,000 hours of continuous use, equivalent to approximately 8-10 years at typical residential duty cycles. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. The spotlight head tilts and rotates on its mounting block to direct light precisely where needed.

The Luxeon requires Ideal Lux's magnetic track rail system. It will not fit standard single-circuit or three-circuit track rails from other manufacturers. The magnetic adapter block is designed specifically for Ideal Lux magnetic track profiles.

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

No. The integrated 12W LED is not dimmable. If dimming is required, consider an alternative model from the Ideal Lux range or a different spotlight system with dimmer-compatible drivers.

How is the spotlight repositioned on the track?
