The Luxeon is a 9W LED magnetic track spotlight with an integrated LED module producing 3000K warm white light. The magnetic attachment system allows the spotlight to be positioned anywhere along a compatible magnetic track rail, with no tools required to reposition or adjust the beam direction once the track is installed.

Designed for retail, gallery and residential accent lighting, the Luxeon suits applications where product displays, artwork or architectural features need directed light that can be adjusted as layouts change. The 96mm projection from the track rail gives enough standoff to aim the beam without the fitting itself dominating the visual field. The spotlight head rotates and tilts on a twin-axis joint, allowing light to be directed down, across, or at angles to graze surfaces.

The dimmable LED works with compatible leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers, allowing output to be reduced for ambient evening lighting or increased to full brightness for task-focused illumination. The white aluminium housing provides a neutral finish that recedes against white ceilings and pairs cleanly with modern and minimalist interiors. At 230mm track length, the magnetic base provides stable contact with the rail without needing additional clips or fixings.

What track system does it work with?

The Luxeon uses a magnetic attachment system and requires a compatible magnetic track rail. It will not fit onto standard single-circuit or three-circuit track systems that use mechanical clips or twist-lock fittings. Confirm track compatibility with Ideal Lux before ordering.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED module is integrated into the spotlight housing and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, which at typical retail or residential use equates to 10-15 years of service before noticeable output decline.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the spotlight is suitable for dry indoor environments only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor installation.

How is the beam angle adjusted?

The spotlight head rotates 355° on its horizontal axis and tilts approximately 90° on its vertical axis, allowing the beam to be aimed in any direction once the fitting is clipped onto the track rail. Adjustment is done by hand without tools.
