Description

The Luxeon-2 recessed end power cap is an 83mm metal component that terminates a 3-phase track lighting run while providing the mains connection point. Unlike standard end caps that simply close off a track, this end power cap houses the electrical connection from ceiling wiring into the track's live rails, making it the point where the track system receives mains power.

Designed for recessed track installations where the track sits flush within a ceiling channel or plasterboard cut-out, the cap provides a 30mm projection from the track face to house the terminal block. The white powder-coated metal finish matches white track profiles and sits flush with white or light-coloured ceilings. In practice, this component is used once per track run — at the point closest to the mains supply — with standard end caps closing any other open ends.

The metal housing protects the internal terminals and provides structural support for the track at its termination point. Installation requires connecting the mains supply cables (live, neutral, earth) to the internal terminal block before securing the cap to the track profile. The 5-year warranty covers the metal construction and terminal block integrity under normal residential and commercial use.
