Description

The Luxeon-1 is a 1000mm recessed magnetic track system in white powder-coated aluminium, designed to sit flush with ceiling or wall plasterwork. The track accepts magnetic-mounted spotlights, pendant adaptors and linear fixtures from Ideal Lux's Luxeon range, which click into position along the 1m length without tools or additional wiring.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential interiors where track lighting is needed but surface-mounted rails would disrupt clean ceiling lines, the recessed profile sits behind a plaster skim or plasterboard cut-out. The 83mm projection (total depth from ceiling surface to the back of the track body) means the track fits into standard UK ceiling voids above 100mm without structural alteration. The magnetic contact rail carries low-voltage power to each fitting, allowing spotlights to be repositioned or removed while the track remains live.

The white powder-coat finish on the aluminium body matches standard white ceiling paint tones (RAL 9016 or similar), reducing visual contrast when the track is recessed into a white ceiling. Aluminium construction provides structural support for multiple fittings along the 1m length while acting as a heat sink to dissipate warmth from LED drivers. The track is supplied with end caps and mounting brackets for recessed installation, and can be joined end-to-end with additional 1m sections to form continuous runs.

The track itself does not include light fittings — magnetic spotlights, pendants and linear modules are sold separately and selected based on beam angle, lumen output and fitting style required for the space. IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments; the system is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or high-humidity areas.
