The Lumos is a 65mm diameter recessed LED downlight from Ideal Lux, designed for outdoor installation with an IP54 rating against dust and water ingress. The fitting houses a non-replaceable 10W LED module that produces 4000K neutral white light, recessed into a black powder-coated aluminium body with integral heat-dissipation fins visible from above.

Built for driveways, pathways, porch soffits and commercial building perimeters where recessed downlighting is needed in exposed conditions, the Lumos sits flush to the mounting surface with a 22mm visible rim. The IP54 rating means the fitting resists dust accumulation and can withstand rain from any direction, but is not rated for submersion or ground-level water pooling. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white output that sits between warm residential lighting (2700K-3000K) and cool commercial lighting (5000K+), making it suitable for functional outdoor lighting where colour rendering and visibility matter more than ambience. The black aluminium finish blends into dark soffits and ceilings, or contrasts against render and timber when that effect is wanted.
