Description

The Lumos is a 65mm diameter outdoor LED recessed downlight with an integrated 10W 3000K LED module, IP54-rated aluminium housing and a black powder-coated finish. The unit sits flush with the ceiling or soffit surface with just 22mm total height above the cut-out, making it suitable for installations where ceiling cavity depth is limited. The large finned heat sink visible in the upper section dissipates heat passively without requiring ventilation gaps or airflow.

Designed for outdoor covered areas including soffits, porch ceilings, canopies and carport roofs, the IP54 rating provides dust ingress protection and resistance to water spray from any direction. The warm 3000K colour temperature suits residential entrance lighting, pathway illumination and garden feature lighting where a neutral-to-warm tone is preferred over cooler daylight temperatures. The 10W output is calibrated for spacing of 1.5-2.5m centres depending on ceiling height and desired light levels.

The downlight installs into a 65mm diameter cut-out with spring clips securing the unit from above. The black powder coat matches typical fascias, soffits and outdoor architectural trim colours, and the fixed beam angle (non-adjustable) directs light straight down. The aluminium construction resists corrosion in outdoor environments better than steel housings, and the integrated LED removes the need for separate bulb purchases or lamp replacement over the 5-year warranty period.
