The Lumos is a 46mm diameter filter designed to fit inside recessed downlight fixtures, reducing glare and diffusing the light output from LED or halogen bulbs. Made from heat-resistant plastic, the filter sits between the bulb and the room, softening the beam angle and creating a more even spread of light across ceilings and walls.

Designed for use in living rooms, offices, retail spaces and hospitality environments where direct downlight glare needs controlling, the filter fits most standard downlight housings with a 46mm aperture. Installation involves removing the existing trim or bezel, placing the filter inside the housing, and replacing the trim to hold it in place. The filter works with both dimmable and non-dimmable LED bulbs without affecting dimmer compatibility.

The plastic construction withstands operating temperatures from standard LED and low-wattage halogen downlights without discolouration or warping.
