Description

The Knightsbridge Lumi is a 1200x600mm recessed LED panel light housing an integrated 50W LED array that delivers 7300 lumens at 4000K cool white. The backlit design positions the LED source behind a Tp(a)-rated diffuser, spreading light evenly across the 1195x595mm surface without visible hotspots or striping. At 146.8 lumens per watt, the panel provides office-grade illumination at a significantly lower energy draw than the fluorescent modular fittings it replaces.

Designed as a direct retrofit for 1200x600mm modular ceiling grids in offices, schools, warehouses and commercial interiors, the panel sits into standard T-bar suspended ceilings or can be surface-mounted with an optional suspension kit. The 25mm profile keeps the fitting discreet within the ceiling plane. The 110-degree beam angle provides wide-area coverage suited to open-plan workspaces, corridors and ancillary rooms where even, shadow-free light is required. The panel operates on 230V mains with a constant-current driver built into the frame.

The aluminium frame is finished in white to match standard ceiling tiles, and the Class II double-insulated construction removes the need for an earth connection during installation. IP40 rating protects against solid objects larger than 1mm, making the panel suitable for dry indoor environments but not wet or dusty locations. The integrated LED has an L70B50 lifespan of 50,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 17 years of continuous use before the output drops to 70% of the initial lumen level. CRI >80 ensures colours render accurately under the cool white light, which is the standard choice for task-focused commercial environments.
