Description

The Lucidra is a 40cm spherical outdoor pedestal light with a white opal plastic diffuser sitting on an aluminium base. The sphere houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and the opal plastic spreads the light evenly in all directions, creating a soft glow across lawns, patios and garden paths. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for UK outdoor installation year-round.

Designed for placement on patios, along garden paths, around decking areas, or on low garden walls, the Lucidra provides ambient marker lighting rather than strong task light. The 40cm diameter makes it visible from a distance without dominating small garden spaces. The 2.8m cable length allows the lamp to be placed several metres from the nearest outdoor socket or junction box, though routing cable underground or through conduit is recommended for permanent outdoor installations.

The aluminium base provides a stable footing on flat surfaces and resists corrosion better than ferrous metals in damp outdoor conditions. The white finish on both the sphere and base blends into contemporary and coastal-style gardens during daylight, while the translucent opal plastic becomes the visible element after dark when the bulb is lit.
