Description

The Look-2 is an 80mm diameter crystal flush ceiling light built around a ribbed glass reflector surrounded by a ring of vertical cut crystal droplets and a polished chrome mounting plate. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the glass reflector, casting light through the ribbed surface and the outer crystal ring to create refracted patterns on the ceiling surface around the fitting.

Designed for low ceilings where a pendant would hang too low, the Look-2 works in hallways, cloakrooms, en-suites and compact bedrooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m. The 80mm diameter and minimal 60-70mm projection from the ceiling keep the fitting unobtrusive while the crystal elements add decorative detail. The fitting mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose and the IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The combination of ribbed glass and cut crystal gives the fitting more visual texture than a plain glass flush light, while the polished chrome frame pairs with both warm and cool interior tones. The G9 lamp holder accepts capsule bulbs up to 40W halogen or equivalent LED, and the fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable lamps and a suitable dimmer switch. Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The Look-2 projects only 60-70mm from the ceiling surface, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant light would hang too low or create a visual obstruction.

What bulb does it take?

The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 40W halogen or equivalent LED (typically 4-6W LED). Bulbs are sold separately. For dimming capability, choose a G9 dimmable LED and pair with a compatible LED dimmer.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Look-2 to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor areas. For bathroom ceiling lights, an IP44 or IP65 rated fitting is required.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow the bulb to cool completely. Wipe the crystal droplets gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or the electrical components inside the fitting.
