Description

The Lightify is a 40cm square flush ceiling and wall light with a matt white enamelled metal frame and a transparent satin acrylic diffuser. The fitting takes four GX53 disc bulbs (sold separately), positioned behind the diffuser to spread light evenly across the 400mm x 400mm face. The low-profile design projects just 85mm from the mounting surface, making it suitable for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights.

The dual-mount design allows installation either as a flush ceiling fitting or as a wall light, depending on where direct overhead light is needed. On ceilings, the Lightify works in living rooms, kitchens, hallways and bedrooms where a clean, unobtrusive fitting is preferred over a pendant. On walls, it functions as area lighting in corridors, stairwells or bathrooms (IP20 rating limits it to zones 2 and 3 in bathrooms, not wet zones). The satin acrylic diffuser softens the light output and hides the individual bulb positions when the fitting is on.

The matt white powder-coated finish on the metal frame provides a neutral backdrop that blends with white and light-coloured ceilings without creating a contrast line. The 400mm square footprint covers a standard ceiling rose and typical wall-mounted junction box with room to spare. GX53 bulbs are available in a range of wattages and colour temperatures, allowing control over the brightness and warmth of the output. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable GX53 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Yes, provided you use dimmable GX53 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will work at full brightness but will not dim.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor areas. In bathrooms, it can be used in zone 2 (at least 600mm from a shower or bath) or zone 3 (beyond 2.4m from water sources), but not in wet zones directly above or around a shower or bath.
