The Lightify is a 30cm square flush-mount fitting that can be installed on ceilings or walls, housing four GX53 bulbs behind a satin acrylic diffuser. The frame is matt white enamelled metal with a low-profile design that projects 300mm from the mounting surface when wall-mounted, or sits flush against the ceiling with minimal drop when ceiling-mounted.

Designed for rooms where ceiling height is limited or where a clean, unobtrusive light source is needed, the Lightify suits hallways, bathrooms (IP20 rating limits it to zones outside splash areas), home offices, and bedrooms. The four GX53 fittings accept LED or CFL bulbs (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and total light output. The square footprint covers approximately 300mm x 300mm on the wall or ceiling.

The satin acrylic diffuser spreads light evenly across the panel surface, reducing glare and hotspots compared to exposed bulb fittings. The matt white finish on the metal frame reflects ambient light in the room without creating highlights or reflections, making it a neutral backdrop in both white-painted and coloured interiors. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable GX53 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

The Lightify takes four GX53 bulbs (sold separately). GX53 is a low-profile twist-and-lock base format commonly used in flush and semi-flush fittings. Most users pair this with 7-11W LED GX53 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) or neutral white (4000K) depending on room use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable GX53 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable GX53 bulbs will operate at full brightness only.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means it is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It can be used in a bathroom outside splash zones (Zone 3 or beyond, typically 60cm+ from a shower or bath edge), but not directly above a bath or in a shower enclosure.

How is it mounted?

The fitting mounts to a standard ceiling rose or wall backplate using screws through the metal frame. The acrylic diffuser panel then clips or screws onto the frame to conceal the bulbs and wiring. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
