Description

The Light Stick is a 60cm vertical LED wall light built from black powder-coated aluminium with an integrated 7W LED module behind a white acrylic diffuser. The light emits warm 3000K light upwards and downwards along the wall, creating two parallel wash effects rather than direct illumination into the room. The slim 7cm × 9cm profile projects just 7cm from the wall.

Designed for corridors, stairwells, hallway accent lighting and beside-bed positions where directed task light is not needed, the Light Stick provides ambient wall wash without glare. The vertical orientation suits tall narrow wall sections between doorways or alcoves, and the minimal projection keeps the fitting out of the way in high-traffic circulation spaces. The IP20 rating limits it to internal dry areas only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.

The black aluminium body is powder-coated to a matt finish that absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, making the fitting itself recede visually while the upward and downward light cones draw attention to the wall texture and ceiling/floor boundaries. The integrated 7W LED is non-replaceable but rated for 30,000+ hours of use, equivalent to approximately 10 years at 8 hours per day. The high CRI (colour rendering index) preserves accurate colour perception under the warm 3000K light temperature.

No. The 7W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of use, which equates to approximately 10 years at 8 hours per day before significant light output degradation occurs.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Light Stick is suitable for dry internal areas only. It is not protected against moisture ingress and must not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor locations.

Does it provide enough light to read by?

No. The Light Stick is designed as ambient wall wash lighting, directing light upwards and downwards along the wall surface rather than outwards into the room. For reading or task lighting, pair it with a separate directional fitting such as a reading lamp or adjustable wall spotlight.

How is it mounted?

The fitting mounts to a standard UK back box using a rear bracket concealed behind the aluminium body. The wiring is routed through the back box and connected to the LED driver inside the fitting. Full installation instructions are included in the product manual linked above.
