The Lemuria is a 375mm drum pendant light built around a gold-finished metal frame featuring a Grecian key motif, with an ivory linen shade and opal diffuser housing two E27 bulb fittings. Designed by Karyl Pierce Paxton for Gilded Nola, the pendant combines a classical architectural pattern with a neutral fabric shade that softens the light output from both bulbs.

The fitting is designed as a duo-mount, meaning it can be installed either as a pendant with an adjustable drop from 318mm to 1232mm, or as a semi-flush ceiling light where the canopy sits closer to the ceiling. This makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, and particularly useful in dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms where ceiling height varies. The height adjustment uses threaded rods supplied with the fitting, set during installation rather than being adjustable afterwards.

The Grecian key pattern is cut into the gold metal frame that wraps the drum circumference, creating a repeating geometric motif that references classical Greek and Roman architecture. The ivory linen shade inside this frame diffuses the light from the two E27 bulbs (sold separately, up to 60W each), while the opal diffuser at the base prevents glare when the pendant is viewed from below. The gold finish has a slightly textured surface rather than a high-polish chrome appearance, giving it a warmer tone that pairs with brass, bronze and wood interiors.
