The Lantern is a single-pendant light with a bronze metal lamp holder, black twisted fabric cable and an integrated on/off switch in the holder body. The 90mm diameter holder houses an E27 bulb fitting, designed to be used with exposed filament bulbs where the bulb itself becomes the visible light source. The bronze finish shows a warm metallic tone that leans towards copper-brown rather than oil-rubbed bronze.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and bedroom side-table positions where simple pendant lighting is needed without permanent ceiling switching, the Lantern hangs on a 2000mm cable that can be shortened during installation or looped to adjust drop height. The integrated switch in the holder allows the light to be turned on and off without wiring into a wall switch, making it suitable for renters or installations where adding a switch plate is impractical. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas.

What bulb does the Lantern take?

The Lantern takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with large globe filament LEDs in G95 or G125 sizes at 2200K-2700K to match the bronze tone.

Is the Lantern dimmable?

The holder itself is not dimmable. If you use a dimmable LED bulb, the light can only be dimmed if wired through an in-line or wall-mounted dimmer before the integrated switch in the holder.

Where is the switch located?

The on/off switch is integrated into the bronze lamp holder body, visible as a small toggle or rotary dial on the side of the holder. This allows the light to be controlled directly at the fitting without needing a wall switch.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

The 2000mm cable can be shortened during installation by looping excess cable inside the ceiling rose or by cutting and re-terminating if you are comfortable with electrical work. The cable cannot be lengthened beyond 2000mm.
